Dr. Shawan O. Bellow is the founder and owner of Lamad Educational Services. She is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and recognizes the need for quality education for all students (K-12 and Higher Education).  Throughout her career as an educator, she has served in various educational capacities.  Dr. Bellow is diverse in her approach to the growing educational demands that exist in the surrounding suburban and urban communities in the greater New Orleans Area.  Dr. Bellow possesses an array of expertise to effectively consult with her clients concerning their educational needs. Her knowledge and experiences stem from 25 + years in the field of education that ranges from Kindergarten to Higher Education.  Dr. Bellow specializes in school, district, and university level accreditation processes, school improvement, professional development, coupled with grant facilitation management.  Dr. Bellow has received countless recognitions for her efforts to ensure learning success for all and continues to strive to reach new heights in the field education. Her goal is to develop partnerships with other educators to successfully produce productive 21st Century leaders and learners.

Dr. Shawan O. Bellow's educational journey began at Our Lady of Holy Cross College, New Orleans, Louisiana where she received her Bachelors of Science in 1990.  She acquired a Reading Specialist Masters Degree from Xavier University at New Orleans in 2000, along with a Gifted and Talented Certification in 2003.  In 2007, Dr. Bellow earned her Doctorate Degree from NOVA Southeastern University in Organizational Leadership with a specialization in Educational Leadership. Dr. Bellow is a life-long learner and continues to seek and participate in professional development opportunities to stay abreast of educational trends and research.

Consultant: Quincy M. Martin

Information Systems Manager

 

Quincy M. Martin is a military veteran with extensive knowledge and expertise in information system management and personnel retention and recruitment best practices.  Quincy has worked with both government and non-government entities to establish, monitor and maintain personnel management systems that are used to analyze personnel data to include performance, compensation and tracking of career paths of personnel across the information and technology field.  His background in information technology affords him the ability to properly assess projects from a business perspective while simultaneously developing appropriate IT solutions that enable business processes and tasks to be accomplished using both best practices and current technology.

Quincy is a product of the New Orleans Public School System and has been a lifelong proponent for the importance seeking higher education though both traditional and non-traditional methods.  He has diverse leadership experiences and is skilled in building and strengthening relationships across groups to drive cohesive, strategic operations in support of organizational goals. Quincy is credited with motivating, leading, and mobilizing teams of various sizes and complexities into action in support of new objectives, projects, strategies, and processes in accordance with the strategic focus of the organization.

 

Quincy is the quintessential professional and is highly regarded for his pragmatism and sound judgment within his field, organization and external projects he has lead.  As a native New Orleanian, he enjoys the music scene and unique cuisine his city has to offer.

Dr. Sonia Martin promotes and advocates for equitable educational opportunities for all students.  As an instructional leader and coach with proven expertise in school improvement, professional development, curriculum and instruction, and data analysis, she is dedicated to implementing best practices to achieve favorable performance results.  Dr. Martin believes that all students deserve to have access to highly qualified teachers who consistently meet their learning needs through a variety of instructional methods and techniques with focus and fidelity.  Her diverse coaching and mentoring methodologies encourage teachers to create change within their instructional practice to increase effectiveness and academic achievement performance.  Dr. Martin inspires teachers to use love as their shield, in order to foster relationships and develop a harmonious culture and climate in the classroom environment.

 

Dr. Martin is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a product of the public school system.  She values the art of teaching and consistently provides teachers with professional development opportunities to promote the application of high quality education in the classroom. Dr. Martin is a lifelong learner and continues pursuit opportunities to enhance her knowledge and application to remain effectiveness in her work.

 

Dr. Martin is a published author and is an avid reader.  She also enjoys spending time with her family traveling and attending sporting events.
